Hurst & the firehouse
A Hurst building. A Hurst future.
The City of Hurst provided the former fire station to Rehab Warriors as an economic-development incentive for its headquarters.

The city
A new use for an existing place.
The fire station is part of Hurst’s built identity. The project’s proposed direction keeps that place at the center rather than treating it as a blank site.
The team
Rehab Warriors is doing the work.
Rehab Warriors is self-performing the transformation into its headquarters. Hurst’s role belongs to this building’s story: a familiar civic place, given the opportunity for a new working life.
The public window
A project people can follow.
Existing photographs show the starting point. Proposed renderings show the direction. The next chapter belongs to the work of bringing the building back into use.
