The project brief
Hurst Fire Station. A new mission.
One building. One team bringing it back into use. A headquarters that retains its connection to Hurst and the service this place represents.
433 Precinct Line Road · Hurst, Texas · Proposed rendering
The place
433 Precinct Line Road.
A former Hurst fire station is the starting point for Rehab Warriors headquarters. Its apparatus bays and existing structure anchor the proposed design.
The approach
Self-performed by Rehab Warriors.
Rehab Warriors is self-performing the project. The original photographs and proposed design show the starting point and direction; construction milestones are not presented as completed.
The vision
A working home, inside a familiar landmark.
The proposed design brings together a bay lounge and coffee bar, classroom, podcast studio, conference room, kitchen, break room, offices, and covered patio. These spaces remain proposed, not completed.
The rooms serve a larger purpose: a home for veteran-led development, entrepreneurship, and community capacity. Rehab Warriors positions veterans as project leaders and owners, not simply as labor. This headquarters gives that mission a place to gather and work.
The responsibility
Show the starting point. Show the intent.
Keep the existing building and proposed design clearly distinguished. Let the photographs tell what is there, and the renderings tell what is envisioned. The work ahead is the next chapter.
